Aeroworx B22 King Air for FSX?

Featured Replies

Anyone hear about this aircraft making it into FSX? I just installed it manually to FSX and the outside model looks great, just no panel or VC..!Thanks, Rob ARedding, CA

They answer this specific question in this thread:http://www.aeroworx.com/smf/index.php?topic=1964.0To sum it up, they will be releasing version 3 specifically for FSX and it sounds like they will offer a discount to previous owners. They are not providing a timeline but they are building this from the ground up so it should be nice.

Thanks for that link, Griff. A discount would be nice, but I'm very happy to see a new version for fsx is in the works. Good news!Rob ARedding, CA

Rob,I successfully copied over the King Air.You need to copy the Panels from the FS9 folder as well as the Effects folder. As far as the VC, when in 2D panel, try the "A" key.Manny

I loaded it into FSX but if I remember correctly the gps did not work.I could not get the power on. Im not sure if the AP worked.

The GPS works fine. Be sure to place the Gauge files in the panel folder of the variation you are flying.

The AP works too.Manny

Explain what "gauges" file and what panel folder.I do not see a specific aeroworx gauges folder. Thanks for any help.

Hi,Copy the KA gauges from the FS9/Gauge folder to the (pic a variation) panel in the FSX/Simobjects/airplanes/panel.Hope this helps.Bob..

I figured it out. THANKS!No landing lights but thats seems to be the problem with alot of em.My fps with the Aeroworx is really good considering the additional detail. One of the few I would actually buy again just for FSX if I had too.BTY- IM really getting tired of seeing some pushing their "fsx ready, fsx compatable" planes. Reading the small print you find out half the stuff probably does or work but they are working on it.In other words. Yes you can do it now but do not try it and pay us to experiment...........

Man I don't know why I waited so long to try to port this one over. Running smoother than the Cheyenne on my system. Sweeet.>>The AP works too.Not mine :-)I can turn it on using the Z key and use key commands but it will not respond to commands from the VC.Open the 2D pop-up and none of the buttons or toggles move. Also the fual gauges are inop.Any suggestions guys ?cheersGreghttp://www.fs2crew.com/linepilot.jpg

AP,GPS all working but only using the pop ups in the vr pit. They were just black screens.Took a nice 200 mile trip gps and noticed I was off course. I opened up the AP and saw it had turned off. Back on and I was on my way.Then---- C--T--D--Some memory error.Oh well....

Looks like I'm out of luck on the B200 on my system. After reading about putting the gauges in the respective panel folders I gave it another go. Sounds and visuals are great but all I get for a panel is a black screen. Great wing views tho..! ;-) Back to FS9 to fly this bird it seems. I think my AMD 64 3000 with ATI X800 is too slow to work this aircraft in FSX. The upside is that it flys like a dream in FS9 and looks good too! Thanks for all the ideasRob

I thought it might be an issue with using FSX on Vista. Are you using Vista? If not then there is something else going on here.
