PM not operating MCDU/GPU

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at the code now to refresh my memory.

Please ensure that the following FS2Crew options are select off:

1. USER CONTROLS GPU ... that must be off.

2. TRANS STOP-NO CREW CHANGE: NO ... that must be off.

Try with the cold and dark panel state with the options set as described above.

The FO should turn on External Power during the Preliminary Cockpit Prep flow.

Hi Byork,

Both options are off
i tried from cold and dark  without doing anything except starting preflight events.

the FO starts batteries 1 and 2 then start APU without connecting GPU and/or pressing EXT PWR.

the same with GPU connected through jetway.

Please ensure you are using fresh, original FS Labs panel state files, not custom ones.

I recall this is how the other user solved it.

Fresh fslabs and Fs2crew reinstalled.

starting c&d

FO still switches on batteries then the APU without doing anything with GPU and EXT/PWR.

What's your "User controls GPU" option set to?

When you say fresh, are you sure the panel state files were totally clean?

Did you manually delete them prior to re-installing?

User controls GPU set to NO

uset starts APU (PF) set to NO

panelstate folders empty and erased

I recall you need to use the GPU panel state.

 ??

if I use GPU panel state, my plane will be already powered on with GPU and EXT PWR.

in that case, the FO will not have to connect GPU and press EXT PXR because it’s already done.

so, if I understand I can’t start from c&d with my FO powering up the airplane ?

I recall the GPU panel state has the GPU available but not connected.

The FO will press the EXT button, thus having the GPU powering the aircraft.

If the GPU is not connected, the FO should start the APU (thus you'll have your AC power source).
