January 24, 20215 yr Does anyone know if MFS 2020 will accept over 12 controllers, I have 4 Thrustmaster MFD cougars, when i plug the last one in the sim closes. If I unplug one of the others and then replug in #4, it works. Which ever one I plug in last, beyond 12, it closes the sim. I wonder if it could be a USB power problem -- with 12 controllers are you using powered USB Hubs? Al
January 24, 20215 yr I have also discovered that the sim crashes when I enter the Setup/Controls screen. The information I have is that MSFS will accept only 8 controllers (actually 10, but it counts the mouse and keyboard). It crashes the sim when you enter the controls setup if you have more than 8. Prior to the last update it wouldn't crash but you wouldn't see all the controllers. A workaround is said to be that you can unplug some of the controllers, then go into the controls setup and do what you need to do, then come out and plug the other controlelrs back in. I don't know how useful this will be in practice. January 24, 20215 yr Author Thanks for your response. that sounds about right. Will try your recommendation. Thanks. Win 11 pro 64Bit, X670 AORUS ELITE AX, Ryzen 7 7800x3d, RTX 4080, 64Gig G-Skill 6000 DDR 5, Samsung 990 pro 2TB NVME.
January 25, 20215 yr wow. Slightly concerning at the inability of MSFS to play well with users who have more complex control arrangements. I admit I'm only dabbling with with MSFS right now. But it's a little shocking to me that the brand new sim is having limitations like this. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
