Like to add some parked aircraft to a certain airport. I did try Where Are My Aircraft but it will not connect to Steam FSX. Is there another program or software that would let me do this ?

I use Airport Design Editor, works great with my boxed FSX Accel install.  With the Steam Edition of FSX, you will have to download and install the FSX SP2 Software Developers Kit and manually point ADE to the SDK file.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

I'm going to do the same. Just tried to add an a/c at KBFI. I added an AIGAIM model and it appears at the defined place but w/o any texture (black). How can I choose a particular texture. Have not found where I could enter it in ADE.

Try placing a copy of the model's texture in the "textures" folder in your KBFI scenery folder.

Hi warbirds,

The easy way will be using ADE Airport design editor, just Google it, I remember the software was free on their website, you have some static aircraft that are included in the software and they can be placed easily. There are Many tutorials on YouTube for this software.

Another way will be editing the AFCAD with an unlinked parking spot with parking code for that specific AI aircraft and then make a AI flightplan, that will make the aircraft appear parked at all times. This allow you to make any AI aircraft, static.
