If I like VR (when my G2 shows up) then I am also going to get one of these https://www.yawvr.com to go with it, as they look super good! Yeah mate, this has been around for a while now but always been unaffordable for me. I think it would be an awesome combination with VR. February 5, 20215 yr Marsman, You have raised a really good point here and one I had not even thought of thinking about. I wonder if software can sort it all out? Thanks for raising this and I am keen to follow any sort of follow up. I am also following the other yawvr thread. Tony Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard. Tony I believe it’s called motion compensation, and certain software eliminates it on certain headsets. However you can disable the yaw part of it for now leaving the pitch and roll still working fine with no ill effects.

February 5, 20215 yr Ian I am looking at the Quest VR headset, probably the only affordable one for me and it has the added bonus of compatibility for hand tracking. I’ve memorised every single switch, lever and button on my alpha and bravo yoke over the last 24 hours for when I’m ‘operating blind’. VR Will kind of make my class echo device redundant, and I still need a way to view navigraph charts. I can control pilot2atc via my voice. So, lots still to figure out. Assuming of course I actually like VR once this G2 arrives....!

For me it is the way of flight simming future, providing it becomes a little more affordable. I believe that even this aspect is inevitable as adoption of VR becomes more widespread. I am so looking forward to MSFS getting more complex aircraft, better adaption (allegedly) of VR and me getting a headset LOL Could it get any better than P3Dv6 with MSFS graphics? I suffered Vertigo and stomach upset. Initially I thought my stomach upset was due to food poisoning. Nope.. It turned out it was the VR. Every time I used the VR, I had food poisoning. LOL. Thought I'll get over it.. Did not improve by use. Got worse and worse. Not everyone could use VR. Edited February 5, 20215 yr by Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
February 5, 20215 yr Manny, I feel for you mate, I am adopting the "it ain't gonna happen to me" attitude, that the younger among us appear to adopt. Add to that a modicum of "I hope like H.ll it doesn't happen to me Have you tried it in PC flight simming? I do not know if that would make any difference though. Regards Tony Tony Chilcott. AirManager and PanelBuilder don't solve the issue. MSFS needs to able to spawn extra windows in which you place whatever views you want. These could be on a single monitor, or on multiple monitors. A sample of this is in the RealFight RC simulator. This is the advantage of a windows based operating system (why they call it "Windows"). Where can I post this suggested improvement where the developers will consider it? I also fly VR, but except for looking around (and 3D), it is not as good for simulating flight as monitors (in fact it has a plethora of "cons").
