WIN10 Preview Update Feb 4 2020 Prevents MSFS from starting

Featured Replies

After a recent Windows 10 Feature update I received the following error message when trying to start MSFS. I uninstalled that update and restarted MSFS with no problem. The error occurred multiple times until I uninstalled the Features update for Win 10. I have not reported this to Zendesk yet. A few more tests to confirm before I report it. It could be something else but I am not sure yet.
ErrorCode20200205

I have uninstalled:
2/2/2021
KB4598291
2004-OS Build 19041.789 and 20H2-OS Build 19042.789

I have reinstalled the update in question and did NOT get the same error. Unknown situation.

Strange. Perhaps make sure your video drivers were installed / reinstalled correctly after the feature update.

Tried starting as administrator?

I've never had to run MSFS as Administrator, nor any other modern game in Windows.  This was a thing back when we started using limited non-administrator accounts in the XP days, but not anymore.

I appreciate the inputs. I did go back and uninstall/reinstall the Preview Update and then I went back and made sure my Radeon drives were installed and current. Restarted MSFS with no problem and a couple of flights were successful with no issues. Thanks
