FS2Crew not working with latest Maddogx update

Recommended Posts

The panel.cfg file probably got "refreshed" when you installed the update (restored to its original condition).

Therefore, you probably need to re-enable FS2Crew via the Maddog config manager to have the FS2Crew entries re-added to the Dog's panel.cfg.

Cheers,

No joy. Reinstalling FS2crew doesn't work either.

When you go to the "Vehicles -> Instrument Panel" do you see an FS2Crew Main Window entry.

If not, then FS2Crew is not on your panel.cfg file.

That means when you "enabled" FS2Crew via the Maddog Config Manager that you probably had a write permission problem.

Here's the resolution - first check the panel.cfg for any fs2crew entries. If there's none (as in my case), start your LM (using admin rights), and deselect FS2crew, save, close. Start the LM again (also using admin), and turn FS2crew back on. The panel.cfg entries are then added.

It's now working in sim.
