February 27, 20215 yr Captain Sim - Where Art Thou, too. I wanna' fly the 737-200 ADV on the VOR's down to sunny Spain. They did a "Good-Bye FSX" sale the other day. I'm hoping it's because they've got their heads down in to the new sim. Captain Sim 737-200 crashed the PMDG 737 NGX - because; "You had to know how to fly". (No Magenta line for you pipsqueaks) Really hoping those guys are going to come on-stream soon and produce the definitive 737 by Boeing. Edited February 27, 20215 yr by Will Fly For Cheese

If you do fly the CJ4, you have to try the Working title mod. They have brought it to a really realistic level, and they have re done the pro line... which now works very well. Give it a go! But yes, the sim shines at low level VFR!

And none of those could be figured by cross radials 😛 Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). February 27, 20215 yr Who needs them. You've got 2 VORs on that APPR. That's enough with standard 737-200 DME equipment. Remember flying Radials? You've got an ADF you can tune if you're scared too. If you can't get on the ground with that Chart you shouldn't have got in the air in the first place. Edited February 28, 20215 yr by Will Fly For Cheese

They use to have SID/STARS with cross radial or dme fixes but now it's all GPS points. So to fly old iron we need to get old charts! 🙂 By the way those who still using 737 200 retrofit them like that Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). February 28, 20215 yr I flew the MilViz 737-200 around on Vatsim for years. Just radio navigation. As long as you let the controller know through vPilot, it was always fine. (Of course I didn't insert myself into packed events etc) The 737-200 was one of my favorites!
