P3D Any interesting missions?

I’m fairly new at flight sims.  I first bought msfs 2020 but found I needed more practice than it’s lessons provided.  I started to play FS X because of the learning center and the great lessons and missions.  Does anyone provide a mission pack (I doubt it’s built in) for P3D v5 that comes close to be as interesting as the ones in FS X?  I read P3D is an improved engine based on FS X so I thought I’d ask.  Thanks.

P3D is not really mission oriented.. it is more for the "hard core" simmer who is looking for increased realism, not missions..

But if you are looking for Bush Flying for example, look here:

And "medium core" simmer please 🙂 And also... beginners.

It's just that it does not come with lessons and is not mission oriented, agree.

However the software and user interface is not so complex and there are plenty of resources on the web to learn to fly.

I use P3D w/ an addon called FSCaptain.  The means every time I go up it's a mission of sorts:  each flight is graded accordiing to how well you perform your piloting function properly and arrive on time.  I have an airline and am working as a captain for the airline which is United Airlines.  I fly PMDG 777 and NGXu exclusively.  I fly pre-dusk to post-dawn only, when scenery doesn't matter except for the airport I'm at.   For this way of using P3D you can avoid ORBX many popular (in the US at least) regional sceneries they just are way to hard on performance, for example Northern California and Southern California.  I bought them but I disabled them becaue in lower light conditions the performance penalty is  simply not worth it.  Moreover, by flying in lower light one can dial backsliders accordingly because once again you can hardly things like autogen and vegetation at late dusk/night.  As a result I have perfect smooth performance even flying into KJFK for example.  Everything is perfectly smooth including taxi, flight, AI air traffic and airport ground traffic, etc.  I have several high end airports because those can be processed easily by my system provided I have dialed back scenery detail except for the airports.  I came to thie approach from flying MSFS which is so far superior to P3D  in terms of scenery and atmosphere I see no point anymore of trying to put lipstick on the pig that is default P3d.  I only us Orbx global plus airports now. And fly in low light condiions where P3d really...shines
