March 10, 20215 yr Moderator @rooster hancock 2003, Macolm, great story! You lucky man. I could kick myself for not booking the Around the Bay flight but money was tight back in the 90s. I've done the next best thing. Brooklands Museum in Surrey has the world's only Concorde simulator. Pete Dowson and I booked ourselves on one of the better packages with a nice lunch with former Concorde pilots and four other members of the public. Then two 15 min sessions in the left-hand seat. One of mine was departing 27L Heathrow and heading back east of London before descending and flying through Tower Bridge. I did the flying whilst the Concorde pilot handled throttles and gave me headings. That was a lot of fun and the software was designed by Andrew Wilson - now head flight dynamics man for the FS Labs Concorde. Ray (Cheshire, England). March 10, 20215 yr Well this is nice! A positive thread with people being grateful with what we got and what's to come. Very rare nowadays 🙂 As for me, WFSS said that their ZSPD is supposed to come 'very soon'... I hope that's right! This is one that I'll probably buy instantly. WFSS has getting very good lately. I really like their VHHH and ZSPD is sorely, sorely missed in my sim world. Also, it seems as though PacSim's KCLE is not too far off either, after which I hope they will continue offering their v5 upgrades for their existing airports. In the meantime I might actually bring their RCTP to v5 myself with some patches, because I really do miss that one... While I love it RCSS just doesn't see as much traffic from airports that i got covered with addons... Oh! And let's not forget A_A's new version of VTBS! I believe this one is quite some ways off, but needless to say this one is very high on my list. If only somebody would come out with a nice Bangkok city scenery, because the default rendition is just sad... I've considered doing it but that would mean starting project #16 and I really ought to work on and finish the other 15!
