I have been trying to use the MSFS standard shortcut keys on the CRJ, but only a few seem to work, i.e movement keys and preset camera views, but trying things like turning on the battery (Alt +B), and lights, has no effect, yet Aerosoft lists all the shortcut key commands in the "Appendix" section of the CRJ Manuel. I needed all the k/b shortcut keys to work so I could setup a "Stream Deck" profile. Any ideas guys?. Thanks for looking.

You have to make sure the Aerosoft shortcut keys are not conflicting with anyone of your existing assignments. If that is the case, you should delete yours first in order to make the Aerosoft ones to work properly.

There are no  Aerosoft shortcut keys, so the only keys available are the standard MSFS keys, but as stated above, the only keys that work are the preset "views" keys. 

I am currently using the below listed MSFS standard keys mapped to my joystick/throttle and keyboard with the CRJ.  They are working very well >

BRAKES - FLAPS - GEAR - SPOILERS - HEADING BUG (increase/decrease) - SPEED BUG (increase/decrease) - VERTICAL SPEED BUG (increase/decrease) - Zoom IN / Zoom OUT

Vcarlo, can you confirm if the battery switch comes on with "Alt + B", also if the lights, nav,taxi, strobes work with the "Alt + N, Alt +J, Ctrl + L". Thanks.

Aerosoft have used their own code. You can't assign MSFS default bindings to this aircraft according to the forums.

I can confirm they do NOT.  I listed the only ones I was able to successfully use in my post.

o.k thanks for clearing that up, must be something with the Aerosoft code that you can't use certain keys. Thanks RW1 for the link.
