Too much stuff cooking now.😞 Keep NOAA winds off until this is fixed (menu "Weather" -> "Wind Source" -> "Disabled", use "Manual" if needed). If you use X-Plane switch to wind from simulator by checking "Weather" -> "Wind Source" -> "Flight Simulator" which is the better choice for X-Plane anyway. March 26, 20215 yr No reply required, Alex... Consider for the future adding a field to store the URL pointing to the wind server? I noticed we had issues similar to the current one in 2020. This way, the users could update it, and you would not need to do an update. :)

April 19, 20224 yr I am having an issue downloading wind data from NOAA. It seems to have started recently. I get the timeout error referred to in earlier posts. I have double-checked the URL in the options and everything looks good. I have also checked my firewall. When I test other connections in the options menu, they all work. Wind times out. Does anyone have any other recommendations? I will turn off wind in the meantime. I am running v 2.6.18. Thanks for your input.
