March 25, 20215 yr When switching to the external view in VR, there doesn't seem to be a way to zoom in close to the aircraft as you would do for a external inspection, etc. Some same functions for monitors/2D do not seem to work in VR. I'm limited to just the right mouse button vertical and rotation about the centerpoint of the aircraft without any way of getting closer. Any insights would be appreciated
March 25, 20215 yr Drone view (INSERT key) is perfect for walk arounds. With a Xbox controller even better.
March 25, 20215 yr Gotta use the drone feature for MSFS. Until they give us proper eyepoint implementations in VR like Flyinside Edited March 25, 20215 yr by blueshark747 Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10 MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled) 8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled) 32GB DDR4 3000 Ram 500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2
March 30, 20215 yr Yes, the drone view is great for that. The only problem I have is that very often my xbox controller goes bonkers. The view just moves downwards. Sometimes it works for a few flights and sometimes it happens every time I plug it in. Really annoying. Does anybody happen to know how to solve this? i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2
April 5, 20215 yr I bind the VR cockpit view position key binds to buttons on my joystick. With that I can move all around the outside of the aircraft with no problem. I can get as close as I want to any part of the aircraft, no zoom needed. This also allows me to move outside the aircraft when flying to get a good look at the fuselage while in the air. Pretty handy. Danny
