March 25, 20215 yr I've got countless pieces of paper with similar scribbles on them. must be jibberish to any who see them on my desk and wonder "what the heck?" nice pics BTW. |  Dave   |   I've been around for most of my life. Your arrival, into the big city, here, brings back a bit of memories, from long ago,...once, I (as pax) landed, into a major international airport, under very similar (near-zero-visibility) conditions, late into the night, but the plane, unlike yours, here, was a (RW) B747...🙂...So, I guess, they used something other than back-of-the-envelope navigational media...🙂...anyway, when I called for a Cab, apparently due to the dense fog, no one was willing to drive me to the Hotel, just a short distance away. My telling them that a big Jumbo had just landed, perfectly safely, did not convince them either... Then i came out of the Terminal a bit, and realized what they meant...the fog was so thick, I could barely see anything beyond 10 feet, and, the familiar big city looked very different to me... Â
