April 11, 20215 yr A flight between two airfields that I wanted to see because I rehabed them in P3D (including the mesh) : Jackson County 1A7 TN and Harlan County KY called Tucker-Guthrie (why not Loretta Lynn I wonder). The type of airports made for me So open a country music radio channel and off we go . In P3D, 1A7 was several hundred meters to the left... A nice thing about MFS is that the airports sit where they should. The Dale Hollow reservoir of the Obey river There is a small city on the other side called Lovelady. Sweet. A ridge very typical of the relief of the Appalachians, parallel to the large river valley Airport is on the left Checking the windsock ! Also in the background the railway station (did I say coal ?) April 13, 20215 yr Beautiful set, and glad, you're exploring this region, in MSFS.... While living in Columbus (OH), ages ago, I used to travel, by road, to the Smokies, once a year, for several years, either (Columbus-> Louisville -> Nashville) or (Columbus -> Lexington -> Dollywood...🙂...)... Your 1A7 Airport, looks like, sits in between my two southward routes, but, I never got to see that airport...I wish I had a (speedy) Spitfire...🙂...thanks for the (aerial) tour...!!
