April 17, 20215 yr I'm just noticing this now. I have no idea if it's from an update or if it's been this way for longer, but... ...after touchdown, my plane slows down all by itself, without needing to use my brakes. It doesn't stop completely but it slows down into the 20's ...I'd say approx. 1kt per second, perhaps even a bit more? So far Ive tested with da62, c177,JF arrow. Checked my hardware and dead zones which seem to be acting normally. Has it always been this way, and I've just not noticed till now? Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
April 17, 20215 yr Author I think i havent noticed it before because i've spent 100% of my time previously in the tbm and the tbm doesn't seem to have this issue. Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons

April 17, 20215 yr Author initially thats what i suspected...but i double checked the parking brake during final, and it was not engaged. I think these smaller planes are just slowing down mostly on their own and nobody has really paid much attention to it 🙂 Edited April 17, 20215 yr by hangar Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
April 17, 20215 yr Hm, how fast (or slow?) does a GA aircraft slow down on idle on a tarmac runway? Less then 1 knot/second? I have no clue, but if there is a head wind at least ground speed should decline quite fast.
April 17, 20215 yr Author it takes maybe 20-30 seconds to slow to under 20kts...but i have not considered the winds. I will check that. Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
