April 30, 20215 yr Commercial Member That's Windows doing something to cause that. Most likely, it's sensing P3D ATC as a communications device and lowering all other sounds, but who knows with Windows. Turning off all ATC in the SIM is your best bet. Dave
April 30, 20215 yr I always turn off voices in p3d but also I need to do the following: 1. Sound Settings 2. Sound Control Panel (on right) 3. Communications 4. Click on top option (or anything other than do nothing) and apply. 5. Click on do nothing then apply and OK. Was an issue in Radar Contact as well, don't know why it doesn't hold to that setting between PC restarts, but key was always to change and apply before setting it back. Not affected if you "sleep" your computer rather than shutdown.. Not an issue if you are using MSFS though....
