I am having a blast zipping around Europe in the FBW neo with MP and real traffic on without stutters and weather looks just great whether 1 day off or not. Final leg 30mins ago into LOWI with real low and rainy clouds. Looked and felt great Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

Weather conditions in MSFS closely matched the current metar in regard to wind speed and direction, temp, visibility, precip, clouds, and QNH. A great improvement over my experience yesterday at KESN. ATIS continues to be an issue. Dew point is always reported as 10. Everywhere, all the time. ATIS reports on cloud layers today are close in altitude but otherwise flawed. KAGC current metar is 800 broken, 3,900 broken, 4,700 overcast. ATIS is reporting a few clouds at 700, a few clouds at 4,600, and a few clouds at 11,000. Perhaps MSFS is pulling some information from the wrong field in the Metroblue reports (see below). Yes. The Metroblue has a column that states few clouds at 700ft. But look at the metar code (which has updated vs what I wrote in the previous paragraph). OVC at 3,800, which matches the conditon depicted in MSFS live weather. Still some work to do. Weather will move out of the KACG area in a couple of hours. Will be interesting to see how quickly the sim matches that change. It's my understanding that MSFS pulls the wind, temperature, and pressure from the METAR. The depicted sky conditions are displayed using the data provided by METEOBLUE's global model which I believe is based on the GFS. Thus, while you took the METAR from the METEOBLUE site, that's not what's shown in the sim so far as the clouds are concerned. Hope that helps. May 8, 20215 yr Author Unfortunately the fix from yesterday didn't improve the weather accuracy for long. Now it seems the in-game weather is way ahead of the actual weather - upvoting this thread should raise awareness for that. Yep, stormy with showers is the forecast about 12 hours from now. Can’t believe they keep messing this up. May 11, 20215 yr Author An update for anyone interested: The thread in the official MSFS forums I mentioned in my OP, which was marked [SOLVED] after some changes (on server side obviously) have been made a few days ago, is now titled "STILL UNSOLVED". And sure enough today, 0720Z, live weather in the sim in Europe is a few hours ahead of the actual situation, documented here. Voting might help intensifying pressure to solve these issues.
