The one time I had a similar issue it was because my Saitek/Logitech switch panel driver locked up. Well there was one other time - I had assigned things like the prop control to the numeric keypad and have a separate mini-keypad I plugged in to USB and keep to the right of the yoke near my throttle. It just duplicates the numeric keyboard on the main keyboard but I can access it with my right hand instead of left. I was sitting there thinking "why does my prop keep going full fine" .Basically it turned out I was getting the equivalent of "the cat sat on the controls". If you have no external hardware the other possibility is you have assigned that function accidently twice (like to both your keyboard and yoke) or your keyboard has stuck keys.
