and the rxp folder couldn't install in my C drive so i put it in D drive and no I aint move it and the problem start happening after i get a new pc

Do you mean you don't have a C: drive, you don't want to install on your C: drive, or the installer fails to create this folder on your C: drive?

Do you however have a D:\RealityXP folder with your .lic file there?

Is so, what is the full .liic file name?

Not entirely sure what you are saying here.. 😉

OK. This is perhaps a very big clue.  I am another user like you and sincerely wish to help you.  I will ask very specific questions.  Be careful first to understand the questions and then take time to consider and be very careful to answer them accurately.  Not one at a time, but please answer all that I ask in one message.  If you do not do this then confusion continues and it will take longer.

What installation file are you attempting to install and answer both when you downloaded the installation file or files, and where you downloaded it from (for each if more than one)?   So when, and from where.

How many GTN purchases have you made?  And which GTN models?  I reread this discussion and I do not see that you specified which GTN model or models.  There is a GTN 650 and there is a GTN 750.  Your licenses are very specific to which of those models.

okay the installer doesn't allow me to create on C drive ,secondly there's no license file in D reality Xp just the set up , and i purchased 2 gtn 750  and during the installing it says error creating files so I'm guessing that's the reason the license file isn't there

One step at a time...

When you run the installer, it should offer to install in its default location, and you would say: Yes.

What happens??  Please be really specific.

What does it say at the top of the error window?

Even better, can you post a screenshot?

Bert

Thank you for sharing the screenshot!

So this is quite explicit: there was something preventing writing the files on your hard drive.

- You're saying "the installer doesn't allow you" but actually it is your system which doesn't allow you. Are you running under parental control or any other form of restricted account?

- Did the installer create a C:\RealityXP folder though and have you checked in there whether there are any files and if so which?

- Do you actually have a C:\ drive ?
