May 27, 20215 yr Just wondered whether anyone has seen these two phenomena. 1. Since the update I cannot turn off landing lights in any plane whether with a switch or mouse. This happened so far in the CC cub, Caravan and TBM - only mods WT G1000/3000. IN addition cannot switch on Yaw Damper in the Caravan 2. This is no different to previous versions - but teeing me orf just a bit. Pure driven snow on the ground Sion Switzerland in sunshine and air temperature 20 C. Same in Bella Coola Canada temperature 9 C. Both are add on airports (Orbx) so maybe I'll try to deactivate them them. Minor points after what I've been through though  Â
May 27, 20215 yr Author Even on the JF PA28 can't switch off the landing light (with the mouse).. Anyone?? Â
May 27, 20215 yr are you using Bravo Throttle or Alpha yoke ? https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.
May 28, 20215 yr Haven't tried the landing lights, but yes, the ground looks a bit white, like ice (The Netherlands). We have a cold summer, but not that cold.
May 28, 20215 yr Author Hi I use a Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog stick and throttle. I managed to map the landing lights to a switch on the stick, which works well now thanks. Bizarre that I can no longer use my mouse. Also had to delete and reinstall a couple of planes before they behaved acceptably: the TBM930 throttle unresponsive and just reinstalled JF PA28 when it wouldn’t follow a GTN 750 RNAV approach (latest update installed) Snow cover still wildly wrong in Canada and Europe (Alps) even in non Orbx locations. Why can’t it just be related to the freezing level?

The problem seems to be that the resolution used for the coverage data is not high enough. You can see this when you go on to Meteoblue's snow coverage map. The further you zoom out the less accurate the snow coverage becomes and at a certain zoom level valleys, that are clearly not covered in snow when you zoom in close enough, suddenly become covered
June 11, 20214 yr Author Sorry didn't see this at the time. Thanks, hopefully the resolution will be improved in a future update as it is a chronic problem with live weather in the Alps and Canada for example.Â
