So then what good is the base? Like eating spaghetti with nothing on it.... It may be a bit less and it's the middle of winter here. I often fly around the Cape Town area and thunderstorms simply never happen here. Once or twice a year you may hear or see a few flashes but that's it. Intel Core i5-12600k, Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, 128 Gigs.
June 17, 20214 yr Just took off from Chambery for a morning flight to Nice and there were flashes of lightning all over the place as you‘d expect on a beautiful summer morning 😂. It‘s certainly better than a few months ago when you had lightning as soon as there was a single cloud in the sky, but I have the impression that it‘s got slightly worse again over the last couple of weeks. Could also be coincidence though. Edited June 17, 20214 yr by Shack95 i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2

From launch until Winter last year I had this problem, during Winter it went away (only to be replaced by the terrible icing). It is almost as if whenever the games sees clouds, heat and a certain humidity, boom, thunderstorm. I wonder if the people in the Southern hemisphere have noticed a decrease in the lightning and thunder. Nothing to do with seasons or hemispheres. I fly the world over and have these silly flashes everywhere and way too often to the point that it is ludicrous.
