It's been quite awhile, but does anyone know what's the hold up with the custom flight management system? I've been waiting for this to be implemented before I fly this plane again. This is the one issue that is killing it for me. Last I heard they will be using the custom fms from WorkingTitle and incorporating it into their plane, but there has been 0 updates about it for awhile now.

They are re-writing the ND (navigation display) in react &  I understand are cleaning up the flight plan code.

 

So I imagine it's still a few months away..

I'd be surprised if it's as long as that. Considering it's all freeware contributions, the team nibbles away at things quite steadily IMHO. Being the way it is, though, I'd say it's nigh on impossible for anyone in the team to give dates.

Even in it's "development" state, the add-on is amazing for what it already does. Yes- there's the odd hiccup - but we're prepared for that!

Considering they are doing all this for the benefit of the community, and in their own time. Patience grasshopper.

I would suggest you go to the FBW Discord channel and ask around.  Sometimes the devs are in that chat and they can give you a more detailed answer.  In general, you're more likely to get a more detailed answer from their Discord channel than you will on Avsim, Reddit, or the official MSFS forums.
