June 29, 20214 yr I've only had a handful of CTDs, all of which I've traced to either a dodgy addon or my own overclock settings. I'm running at ultra everything and none of the crashes have been related to MSFS or W10. Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
June 30, 20214 yr Only crashes I've been getting seem to be completely random and only when I turn off my x-box controller (I use it for casual sight seeing and the drone cam). Sometimes the sim will freeze for 30 seconds to a minute and then resume, sometimes it was freeze and crash, most of the time it will work fine. This happened a few months ago as well, but they fixed it, but now it seems to be back again. Yes I filed a bug report last week. Edited June 30, 20214 yr by Tuskin38
June 30, 20214 yr I did have to disable the water part of the NZscenery mod as some airports will not load with the water turned on (the mod is still worth the money just for the amazing vegetation) but otherwise the sim has been flawless.
June 30, 20214 yr No crashes for me at all since release, and I only had one crash back in the Alpha. I do get some pretty dramatic stuttering though, depending on addons, when I enter busy areas. I think the biggest culprit there is the naval traffic addon that adds all kinds of shipping routes that need to load in some areas.

You should only get lag from that if you change the time of day while flying, and when you run into a boat you’ve never loaded in before, as it needs to convert the model.
