For anyone that flies in the Philadelphia area

Featured Replies

Been using this for quite awhile now and they  just updated it even more. It's sort of a hidden little gem on Flightsim.to so if you want to dress up a U.S. major city this does an EXCELLENT job and it's free!

Philadelphia - Delaware River Pack

The pack adds the following bridges

Delaware Memorial Bridge, Commodore Barry Bridge, Walt Whitman Bridge, Benjamin Franklin Bridge, Delair Rail Bridge, Betsy Ross Bridge, Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, Burlington-Bristol Bridge, and Delaware River Turnpike Bridge.

The pack also adds -

6 different Port Cranes have been handcrafted. I have added more cranes at the correct locations along the river, and cleaned up vegetation, shipping and port areas. And finally! The USS Battleship New Jersey is no longer forested!

Wow. That does look nice. I will be installing that as that area is only 30 minutes from here in a Cub.

Here are more images of that area and the bridges.  He has now also done most if not all of the bridges up in the New York City area.

I was able as he completed them to get them one-by-one on TO.  That was before he combined them into a package.

I ain't even mad. His Delaware River pack is a nice lose leader to sell his two other packs. It lets see that you know you're investing into quality products with the two payware ones.

Just downloaded.  Might buy his payware versions but I don't fly New York/New Jersey much.  If he does Baltimore I'm in for sure.  I'm checking out the freeware to test framerates.

Yes!  The Francis Scott Key bridge.   And perhaps the two tunnel's entrances and exits, depicting their perpetual construction-zones character!  LOL!  Asobo did a fairly good job with the William Preston Memorial Chesapeake Bay bridge, but it could deserve some real love and affection as well.

Have you added the Three Mile Island scenery?

Hopefully we get a proper and up to date (although Philly is expanding FAST with more tall buildings under construction as we speak) Center City.. There is that one addon on FlightSim.To for Center City but I'm not a fan of it. It's very obvious where the mod starts and ends and it the loading times it causes are unbearable

Edit: Thanks for the Three Mile Island heads up. Didn't know that even existed. Grabbing it now

Any good KPHL scenery to go along with this?

Is it the one that's been available for a long time or a newer version?  The older version doesn't load until you are right there.

Not yet. I've been hoping SunSkyJet ported their incredible KPHL over to MSFS but they still seem locked on P3D development.  The default KPHL isn't bad though. An incredibly fun approach that airport has. Very unique..
