July 11, 20214 yr I have noticed lately that the logbook does not appear any more after finishing a flight. Going into the logbook manually, the departure and arrival airport show as the same and no time is recorded against the flight. Any ideas?? Kev
July 11, 20214 yr Do you have Developer Mode turned on? As far as I know, it prevents flight time logging. CPU Ryzen 5800X3D RAM 64GB DDR4 3200MHz GPU RTX 5070 Ti (16 GB VRAM) Display 38" LG OS Windows 11

I do turn developer mode on the adjust the time as quite often the sim starts at a different time than what is selected on the flight plan. I turn developer mode off on the drop down selections but forget to turn it off in the options area. I will try it next flight. Kev

Kev It's absolutely caused by going into Dev Mode, and you don't even need to stay in Dev Mode while flying, you just need to enter Dev Mode while in any part of a flight. I've zendesked this because a consistent cause of microstutters happens whenever the white spinning circle in the lower right part of the display appears and it's very easy to get rid of the spinner by going into Dev Mode and clearing all of the errors/warnings/messages that accrue in the Dev Mode Console, then going back out of Dev Mode. Unfortuantely you then lose the logging of your flight in the pilot logbook. Now if you DON'T close MSFS after completing the flight in which you cleared the console, and therefore stopped the spinner from displaying w/ its associated microstutters (subtle, but absolutely there), you can then clear the console BEFORE entering your flight, so while in the World Map for flight planning, and lose the spinner plus log this next flight. Once you close MSFS the rituat starts anew. Went into developer mode (I rarely ever do this) last night on a SLC-SEA flight and on shutdown the Logbook pops up but nothing was there regarding the flight. The only unusual action was going into developer mode mid flight.
