Flylogic scenery for P3D v4+ and P3D v5+

Featured Replies

Over at Simmarket they have new Flylogic P3D scenery for Lugano, Buochs, Bern, Sion, St. Gallen, and a few others. Does anyone have any of these sceneries? If so how are they? I ask because the screenshots the posted do not look like they are from P3D (they look like FSX screenshots). I had these sceneries when I had FS9 and I liked them. If they are good in P3D I will get them.

I have most of them. You can still use your old serial for the upgrades, which you can get from https://www.flylogicsoftware.com/ directly. The upgrade price is only lowered a little.

They did not improve the quality of the old products i think and it is shown with the old Switzerland Pro background which was never my taste. They also updated this but I think it was only a recompilation of the libraries to make them work in P3D4/5. The imagery did not improve nor did they add new buildings, which have changed the look of Swiss cities since the first release.

However I use these airfields with just ORBX Global and EU landclass and they are compatible. Sometimes, depending on the season, the greenish sat background does not fit well into ORBX textures. The buildings however are still looking cool. I also modded some of the afcads to better host AI planes. I also tried to recolor the backgrounds to match the surroundings. But I was not successful with every airport.

Some of the packages with 3 airfields I upgrades myself to work in P3D5. Mostly only excludes for default buildings are needed there and recompilation of the buildings library.

I'm not at home, so sorry I can not show some screenies here.

Dan

P.S. on the flylogic homepage you may read (with a translator) some more details than on Simmarket. On some sceneries they changed to the actual state, regarding buildings, parkings etc.

I have Bern, Lugano and Sion - I think they rank as good sceneries and bar a slight runway elevation issue (sinking wheels) at Sion I have had no issues.
It did take FlyLogic a while to get the sceneries truely compatible with P3Dv5+.
Sorry no screenshots as I am in-between reinstalls, MSFS is my prime simulator now.

I have Bern and Sion. Compared to the big dogs of scenery developers (FlightBeam, Simwings, etc.) they are nothing to write home about and a bit overpriced for what they offer

So these are just solid sceneries, nothing special. I bought them mainly for the interesting approaches, landing with an A320 at Sion is really fun !
