July 28, 20214 yr Hi guys. Have any of you have noticed that the live weather displays completely incorrect air temperature at altitude? It can make it a real challenge to climb. The other day I had to switch to high blower in the DC-6 at 13,000' because the OAT was so high I could not maintain 40"MP with full throttle open. This seems to me like a pretty mission critical bug to fix. Any word from Asobo? Have you guys experienced this?

There are several threads about the issue on the main MSFS forums, so I assume Asobo is well aware of it, but there has been no feedback or acknowledgement yet… Jim BarrettLicensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Avionics, Electrical & Air Data Systems Specialist. This sudden and extreme temperature fluctuation (especially at higher altitudes) is a new bug that started happening last week, (before SU 5), and is something that needs to be fixed without delay. This is something completely different to whatever long-range plans Asobo has for overall enhancements and improvements to Live Weather. July 28, 20214 yr It started right around the time of the Akamai outage, so it's possible it broke the live weather. Yes, it's a very serious bug in that it's taking a lot of effort to resolve it. In the meantime, the good 'ol pistons seem to be doing all right.
July 29, 20214 yr We are aware of the bug with absurd temps at altitude and it has been fixed; a patch will be coming soon, along with fixes for the AI Traffic CTD and altimeter error. I don't have an exact timeline yet. -Matt Edited July 29, 20214 yr by MattNischan

This bug, to be specific. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/new-live-traffic-bug-departing-aircraft-spawn-with-front-landing-gear-up-and-dont-actually-depart/427249 It's driving me absolutely batty haha.
