Blah! Sim now ignores "blank" tail numbers

Featured Replies

I'm finding many aircraft liveries with custom reg, which would normally have a blank tail number line, now show the last used tail number regardless.  Also reference a blank atc_id in the aircraft.cfg - seems to no longer work! GRRR.

atc_id = "_" ; tail number

Is anyone else seeing this?

You can see the tail number "123" on top of this custom painted reg

And here in white below the tail painted reg

Works fine here. make sure you have 'show tail number' turned off in the customization tab

I turn it off on my side but it is still visible, then is again always ON.

No idea why but it is annyoing. Should I edit the texture config ( eg. on my FB A320)? I see always D-NVAR even if I turn off the Show Tail Number.

I had ATC calling me by an airline call sign I had used on my last flight before updating…I had no call sign entered for this flight.

Hmmm, so aside from not entering one I have to disable it?  Is it a checkbox or something?  I'm not seeing it.

Here it is @ryanbatcund. The problem on my side is that after I put it to OFF, next time when I go to this section is ON again, it resets every time very annoying.
