FS2Crew Weekend Update for August 7th!

This one will be a short one.

FBW A32NX:  We're currently evaluating the hotfix released yesterday by Asobo for any possible problems with the FBW version of FS2Crew.  The FBW changes daily.  MSFS changes almost weekly.  So bear with us please while we try to get the FBW out the door.

Reminders:

We still get people emailing me where they can access their "old" FS2Crew orders from.

You can access them here:   www.legacy.fs2crew.com

Have a nice weekend!

Bryan we all understand about these changes. The FBW will come out anyway.

Yes, we understand completely. You should probably wait until after the next World update, or maybe one or two more hotfixes before releasing your product.

Although I get this sentiment and the right release is needed, after WU6 you may as well say wait till SU6 and then WU7 etc and it’ll be a never ending cycle, as it stands PMDGs 737 is probably a week off beta testing and a couple months from release, the CRJ fs2crew is still in dev as well.

There're still some minor issues with the current update but the issue will be resolved with the SU6. We all hope so.

And then new issues will be introduced 🙂

Kind regards,

If we have to wait for all Asobo updates like you quote SU6/7 and WU7 the FS2Crew FBW will never be released. It will come out anyway when the SU6 is released and there'll be regular updates to adapt it to the sim after the release of FBW Fs2crew.

This is what i saw regarding the 737NG. I can't wait to fly it with FS2Crew. But first of all, finish what Bryan has to start doing so the FBW. And without forgetting that he'll have to finish working on the CRJ before developing the 737. And it's not over, there'll be the Fenix A320, the 777/747 from PMDG. Bryan is never going to be able to take a vacation. My fingers crossed that the 737 won't take as long as the FBW?

Yes, as with everything. But i prefer not to think about it. Otherwise it will give me a headache. Let's stay positive. 🙂

That was my point, therefore I was saying if developers wait for a certain update then we may never see it as any update could break it. I think once Bryan is happy it’s stable we’ll see it released. Also bear in mind the issue with the FBW is it’s updated every day so Bryan has to develop it everyday where he shouldn’t have these issues with PMDG/aerosoft etc as the planes launch “complete”

I think Bryan said future planes shouldn’t as long as the FBW is a test bed for the new fs2crew so that’s good news

Exactly. That's the problem with the FBW. We have to use the DEV version because every day the team working on it 24 hours a day. And if the FBW is not updated it could cause the FS2Crew FBW to crash. But you're right there'll be no problem with the other developers as if you quote PMDG, aerosoft, Fenix and many others.

Nope, i'll blindly say 2-3 months.
