Disable mouse wheel's zoom function?

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if it is P3D's or EZCA's facility.

Anyway is it possible to disable mouse wheel's zoom function anywhere in EZCA's or P3D's settings?

Thanks

No I think it is P3D's - drives me nuts trying to rotate dials, buttons, radios etc and it zooms in all the time. Not sure what the fix or change needed to stop this is. I have not found one yet! Moving slowly seems to help!

coastaldriver I'm sure there must be some way to fix this. Thanks for posting, let's see if we glean something helpful from the comments here.

Hi,

This can be disabled by unchecking the "Enable Advanced Mouse Controls" option in the "Other Controls" menu.

cmdn - Thanks for that, just tried as I have my sim running now. So obvious (read the manual ha ha) - fixed it though. I find it much easier to use the space bar and mouse to zoom or otherwise a button on the joystick to pan and zoom when I want it but this solved that zooming about business. Great tip!

correction

I'm using P3D 4.5 and there is nothing about a mouse in the Other Controls section.

Tom

They could have just enable mouse wheel zoom function only when mouse right button is pressed just like with view panning, which would have made more sense.
