August 8, 20214 yr I may turn up at the auction and rob it all at gunpoint for the supreme touch of irony, not least of which is because that happens to be my birthday Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

You know that shop in the movie still exists, and is in fact a shop too. It's part of the still-extant western town set which is up in the Sierra Nevada mountains in Spain north of Almeria. There's a coach which goes up there on a couple of days each week and it's a very long ride up a very winding road, takes about two hours. It has a western show and you can hire horses and ride around the place, it's great, I loved every minute there. They call it Mini Hollywood. It's appears the Dollars Trilogy and a number of other Spaghetti westerns and apart from a few repaints of some buildings it still looks pretty much exactly as it does in those movies. I bought a leather holster for a Colt Peacemaker and a set of beautiful leather saddlebags from that exact same shop which is the shop in The Good the Bad and the Ugly which Tuco robs, and yes, I did say 'Revolvers!' in there when I was in there. Definitely worth a look if you like westerns and ever find yourself in Almeria. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
August 8, 20214 yr Ha yes, I do love that trilogy and when me and the wife were visiting her dad who has a place in near Alicante I got him to drive us up there . A fantastic experience it was too, though I didn’t spot that the “revolvers “ shop was actually there, I probably went in it but just didn’t realise it was the one. Thats what happens when I go somewhere interesting with the wife, I can’t concentrate she always distracts me with irrelevant trivia. 787 captain. August 9, 20214 yr I would bid for a six gun of course, but then I's be arrested in British Isles. I'd cause quite a stir. Believe it or not, I may be a Brit but not unfamiliar with the said projectile weapons. My dad was a marksman in the Army. Amazing shot. Often went to the rifle range until such things weren't allowed in UK. Then he switched to competition air rifles. I grew up to the sound of air gun pellets whizzing by. Not that I'm a fan of the availability of firearms for the public of course.
August 9, 20214 yr Author I have 3 Italian replicas of Colts from the 'old west' era. An 1873 (.32-20) with the early bullseye ejector, a model1872 Opentop (.44 Colt), and another 1873 (.45 Colt) but this one with markings exactly like I (eye) company used at the Little Big Horn in '75. None of these cost over $400 each. The Italians have almost run the Americans out of business. I reload the casings with very cheap soft lead bullets from Desperado online. If you are reloading, then it doesn't matter a fig that the .44 Colt is a rare caliber. Because .44 lead projectiles are very common (used in other more popular calibers). Soft lead will not bounce back at you from metal plates (like the gong Hickok45 has set up way out there on all his videos). 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
