August 15, 20214 yr @bert I ran the following experiment today. After updating to the WT G1000 NXi 0.3.0 beta which required removing the WT G1000 mod, I decided that with the WT G1000 gone, I would rename the "z-bonanza-g36-improvement-project" file to "bonanza-S-g36-improvement-project" so that it would load before Robert Young's Turbo V3 mod. Did test flight IFR from KBED to CYQB ending with the RNAV (GPS) Y 24 approach in 2D and VR. Maybe there are some subtle things that I missed but, as far as I could tell, everything (minus the G1000 integrations, of course) seemed to work. Manifold pressure held at 29-30 up to well over 15,000 feet, the A/C switch and Ventilator switch worked, the V-speeds were posted to the PFD airspeed tape, and I was getting TAS at 15,000 of 228 knots in level flight. The G36 was a rocket! I would be really interested to know what results others get with this setup.
