September 9, 20214 yr Just had a couple of long pauses this morning. Once on the ramp and once while taxiing to the runway. Pauses were around 30 seconds or more. September 9, 20214 yr Only a couple of short pauses for me with some sound distortion during the pause. Normally this leads to a CTD (Squawk of death!), but not on this occasion - to my surprise it kept going. This was straight after the update and marketplace updates thought. Normally I quit the sim and even reboot, so hopefully it was due to that. The PC had been on for quite a few hours (overnight) due to my download speeds. Hopefully no trouble tonight with a fresh reboot and straight into the sim. Edited September 9, 20214 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. September 9, 20214 yr I've had a few pauses, just long enough to think the program had crashed before it started going again.
September 9, 20214 yr If anyone discovers the cause of these 'ground pauses', please do share - I'm seeing the same behavior. No CTD, just the appearance of the 'hourglass' wait icon spinning. Please make it go away 😉 rgds, JB 9800x3d, ASUS TUF x870, 64GB G.Skill DDR5, MSI Ventus 4080, HP Reverb G2 VR, FlyVirtual.net, Private Pilot SEL rating, subLogic FlightSim 1983 & every release since
