August 5, 20223 yr So Jorg addressed this a long time ago, where people are having to redownload the entire sim instead of it simply updating. It isn't the simulator's fault, it isn't Asobo's, it's all down to the Microsoft Store team and problems with how their store works (FYI it happens with other games). The MS store team are a separate division of Microsoft -- but Jorg said he has been liaising with them to try to get them to resolve their issues. Unfortunately it's ultimately out of Jorg's hands too. But hopefully Microsoft can get their Store team to fix it (for all games). Edited August 5, 20223 yr by March Hare

But I have experienced this issue. That is why I said what I did. I was impatient and quickly clicked through the buttons, missing the one where it had selected the wrong install path on my C drive. The sim was actually on my F drive. So for updates since, I carefully check where it wants to install them. I have had to correct the install path quite a few times, otherwise I get a full download, which on my internet speed, can take days. By the way, I never said anywhere that I was giving 'expert advice'. And I didn't say it was your fault either. I was just talking from my own personal experience and trying help you a little - so no need for the attitude! It's Friday today, and it has been a bad week, so I will now just take a breath and take a step back. I hope you have a good weekend yourself, and don't let MSFS stress you - pointless - its is just a bunch of pixels at the end of the day, compared to what I have had to contend with this week.
