I was wondering if you could separate and make the cabin announcements optional (such as safety announcement and so on). This in order to be able to use other cabin announcement programms and that FS2Crew does not interfere with them (mainly having 2 audios at the same time). I love FS2Crew but mainly for the cockpit interactions!

Yes, you can easily do that.

Just select the Cabin PA volume slider to 0 on the CFG panel.

Post a picture of your FS2Crew Config Panel so I can see your settings.

But so long as you hit the triggers, you should be able to hear the Cabin PAs.

Your volume is okay.

But you need to hit the trigger points so the audio can play.

Which Cabin PA do you think you're not hearing?

 

i cant hear taxi, meals, arrival, ... all sounds in the PA folder. 🤥

Run the Pre Flight Events.

You should hear a PA at the 4 to 5 minute mark.

Let me know.

 

 

i can hear the question for boarding at minute 19 i think 

oh and the welcome message. 

Run the PFE again, and let the timer go down to 4 minutes.

You should hear the Welcome PA.

 

So you heard the welcome PA?

 

yes i heard the welcome from the purser. but after this. it is quiet. only my FO talks to me 😄

For other PAs, you need to hit the triggers:

Taxi:  You announcing "Starting Engine 2"

Meals: Aircraft must be above 20,000 feet, FS2Crew in cruise mode.

Arrival: Happens during the FO's 10,000 descent flow.  Ensure FO flows are enabled.  Maybe you have them disabled on the Setting panel?

Taxi Gate: Happens during the FO's after landing flow.
