April 10, 20224 yr Hi, short update, i tried everything you wrote above. Im not getting it back to autostart with the sim. I gave the command center and msfs admin rights (start as admin), i closed every windows11 firewall, antivirus and so on.... The only improvment i have reached again, after i manually started the command center, i can now start PBE and FS2Crew again from the in game tool bar. I dont know why it is not loading the command center. Best regards Peter

April 11, 20224 yr Hi Bryan, here is the content of the actual exe.xml. What i´m just thinking about, is there any way that MSFS2020 could disregrad the exe.xml? Is there any config which says:" at startup, load exe.xml" ? Thats my though from last night, maybe the sim is disregarding it completely and not loading the exe.xml. Best regards Peter Edit: Yesterday i also checked the path in the exe.xml, that it really leads to the command center. Is all fine there. <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>exe.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Name>FS2Crew Command Center</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\FS2Crew Command Center\FS2CrewCommandCenter.exe</Path> <CommandLine/> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> Here are also the logs of the command center installation: autostart: 20220410 19:37:55.120000: MS Store version file exists - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\EXE.xml 20220410 19:37:55.120000: MS Disc version file not found - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimDisc_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\EXE.xml 20220410 19:37:55.121000: MS Alpha version file not found - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.KHAlpha_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\EXE.xml 20220410 19:37:55.121000: Steam version file not found - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\EXE.xml 20220410 19:37:55.124000: XML Validation Check Passed - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\EXE.xml 20220410 19:37:55.125000: FS2Crew entry already exists in this EXE.xml - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\EXE.xml 20220410 19:37:55.125000: Folder does not exist, will not create EXE.xml - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimDisc_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\ 20220410 19:37:55.126000: Folder does not exist, will not create EXE.xml - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.KHAlpha_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\ 20220410 19:37:55.126000: Folder does not exist, will not create EXE.xml - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\ community folder: 20220410 19:37:23.648000: MS Alpha Version user config not found - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Roaming\Local\Packages\Microsoft.KHAlpha_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\UserCfg.opt 20220410 19:37:23.648000: MS Disc Version user config not found - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Roaming\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimDisc_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\UserCfg.opt 20220410 19:37:23.649000: Steam Version user config not found - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\UserCfg.opt 20220410 19:37:23.649000: MS Store version user config exists - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\UserCfg.opt 20220410 19:37:23.650000: MS Store version packages folder - G:\MSFS2020 20220410 19:37:23.650000: FS2Crew package source folder found - C:\Program Files (x86)\FS2Crew Command Center\community_folder\fs2crew-cmd-center 20220410 19:37:23.651000: Copy the FS2Crew folder - C:\Program Files (x86)\FS2Crew Command Center\community_folder\fs2crew-cmd-center 20220410 19:37:23.651000: To the Community folder - G:\MSFS2020\Community 20220410 19:37:23.942000: Copying of package completed successfully! log file data_proc: 20220410 19:37:23.766000: MS Alpha Version user config not found - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Roaming\Local\Packages\Microsoft.KHAlpha_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\UserCfg.opt 20220410 19:37:23.767000: MS Disc Version user config not found - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Roaming\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimDisc_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\UserCfg.opt 20220410 19:37:23.767000: Steam Version user config not found - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\UserCfg.opt 20220410 19:37:23.768000: MS Store version user config exists - C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\UserCfg.opt 20220410 19:37:23.768000: MS Store version packages folder - G:\MSFS2020 20220410 19:37:23.769000: FS2Crew package source folder found - C:\Program Files (x86)\FS2Crew Command Center\wasm\fs2crew-data-proc 20220410 19:37:23.770000: This package version - 1.0.0 20220410 19:37:23.770000: Installed package version - 1.0.0 20220410 19:37:23.771000: Installed package version already up to date! April 11, 20224 yr For the meals announcment. Im using the headwind a330, which is based on the fbw version 0.7.4, with fs2crew and its working as it should. i get the meals announcment during climb at 26000ft. I´m using the experimental version of the fbw320....maybe this is the reason why its not working? best regards Peter
April 11, 20224 yr Commercial Member Hey Bex, Replace your exe.xml contents: 8 hours ago, Bex1985 said: <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>exe.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Name>FS2Crew Command Center</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\FS2Crew Command Center\FS2CrewCommandCenter.exe</Path> <CommandLine/> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> With this NEW content: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>exe.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Name>FS2Crew Command Center</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\FS2Crew Command Center\FS2CrewCommandCenter.exe</Path> <CommandLine></CommandLine> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> Then restart MSFS. The Command center read icon should appear in your Windows taskbar, just few minutes before MSFS arrives to the lobby part, just after startup. Cheers, Manuel
April 12, 20224 yr Good morning Manuel, i´m sorry to tell, but still no luck. Its still not starting with the sim itself, during startup. Sorry Cheers, Peter

April 13, 20224 yr Hi, i use the ms store version. the path of the exe.xml is: G:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-497877945-2918475157-1624483666-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\exe.xml

C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\ As per the logs, I can see, it found the UserCfg.opt file in that location. How does MSFS knows its in: G:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-497877945-2918475157-1624483666-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\ Is there any special setup you make when installing MSFS? I suspect the reason it's not launching it, maybe it's seeing the wrong exe.xml file? Manuel
April 14, 20224 yr On the 😄 drive there are only shortcuts which lead you back to the G:drive files. I have only one exe.xml and this is located on G: G:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-497877945-2918475157-1624483666-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache i dont know why it put folders onto the c drive. The only thing i do during installtion i tell the MSFS to install on G: MSFS2020 and then it puts all these WPSystem Files and so in there... I just reinstalled my win11 completly and also the sim and fs2crew... it looks completly identical to the setup before.... Cheers Peter edit: what im just thinking about, i can try to put the whole files from G:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-497877945-2918475157-1624483666-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache fixed to C:\Users\hpben\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\ so the system doesnt have to go to the c drive shortcuts which leads it back to g: so it will find the files already on c drive.... il give it a try and let you know Edit2: Sadly didnt work either.. April 14, 20224 yr Commercial Member As a test, try installing the freeware version of FSUIPC for MSFS. See if it can locate your EXE.xml to autostart. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
April 15, 20224 yr ok fsuipc isnt starting too.... im using a fresh copy of windows and of the sim...

April 15, 20224 yr Commercial Member 2 hours ago, Bex1985 said: ok fsuipc isnt starting too.... im using a fresh copy of windows and of the sim... Then it's likely MSFS isn't reading the EXE.XML or it's not finding it. Cheers, Manuel
