If someone can answer, please do. In my opinion, it's similar to WT and the avionics and apparently the flight planner as well. They have said they want to (and are) working to upgrade the atmospheric simulation which WILL affect the ground handling. They've talked about this already. It seems to me that some things can be done now, like a Reno Racing addon, and other things are more deeply tied to other deeper things that are being changed. It'll take time but there are some seriously over dramatic people - mostly on the official forum - who appear to be looking for reasons to be negative ( Velocopter disappointment thread for example). Even this upcoming update is supposed to improve the flight models. Im sure there will be more howling at the moon by people who have never flown ANY plane. I wish they could just enjoy it for what it is. I wish everyone could just enjoy it for what it is. Asobo and MS are working to fix it and they've hired people to make it even better. It just takes time. Heck, FSX was so called stable BECAUSE MS quit fixing it and it was 3rd partiers finding ways to work around the incomplete SDK that made so many addons possible. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.

I saw that coming when "gamers" were introduced to the world of flight sims in FS20. No passing judgment, but they are two different worlds and simmers as a group tend to be more patient and methodical. Gamers tend to be more reactive. Please, do not construe that as me not wanting Xbox gamers in the sim. Quite the contrary. But I keep a foot in both worlds, and gamers will flame a dev in a heartbeat.

Would you call people around here patient and methodical? 😄

The AVSIM Hardware forum for example, featured very exacting (methodical) testing scenarios. Lately, the lowest common denominator seems to be the norm, but that's true in lots of forums.
