September 14, 20214 yr I had this card for all of a week and used it twice to play about three hours worth of msfs on a 4K display. All of a sudden, my screen went black and no input signal to my monitor. The GPUs fans are pegged at 100%. Now, every time I turn on my PC, the GPUs fans go straight to 100% and there’s so signal coming from any of its inputs. z370 gaming 7 mobo i7 8700k 32gb ripjaws V corsair rm850x gold certified the broken RTX 3080 running a bland Samsung 4K monitor. I have a joystick, throttle and WiFi receiver as well as keyboard and mouse plugged into my Pc. oh and the actual GPU is the evga 3080 ftw3 ultra. any help would be appreciated. Thank you. September 14, 20214 yr You can try to connect the monitor directly to the MOBO and removing the GPU to begin with. 🙂 Victor Roos
September 14, 20214 yr If it turns out to be the card I would get with EVGA and get it replaced. They are good about replacing products. From reading the EVGA forums this is a somewhat common problem that required RMA. See what they say. I bought it from my best friend and luckily evga has a secondhand warranty RMA available. The funniest part is that I bought it from my friend brand spanking new. Never opened. Kind of ticked to be honest with this thing but oh well. FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024

With it without the card plugged in. I tried reinstalling the drivers using my integrated graphics but Nvidia said i didn’t have any GPUs installed. Did you get the red LED of death? Quite a few FTW3 cards had this. I started a thread in this forum if you search for it. Another issue that occured with the card was while playing Amazon's New World. A batch of cards had dodgy mosfet soldering. https://www.pcworld.com/article/3632091/evga-explains-how-amazons-mmo-bricked-24-geforce-rtx-3090s.amp.html EVGA will replace it for you. Best support around.

If you go into the BIOS and make sure your IGPU is switched on, you can then remove your graphics card, plug your monitor into the monitor connection on the back of your PC (higher up - not where the graphics card was) and if you get a signal on your monitor you know its the card that's faulty. Certainly sounds like the card from your description of the issue. Send EVGA a message and they will help you. They have excellent support.

I’m surprised you are able to read my post with all the autocorrect errors. Haha I can get an output signal from my motherboard and I’ve started the RMA process with evga. Thanks for responding!
