September 25, 20214 yr Hmm, this is an odd one guys. Forgive me if I have missed a bug post elsewhere or a post referring to the same issue, but I have been unaware of any. Previously the DC6 in pre MS update 6, flew perfectly fine for me, but since the latest update, for some reason which I cannot fathom, the aircraft shows a very pronounced wobble from side to side, not the yaw axis, but the roll axis. It is extremely pronounced. It isn't a wobble on it's own, but a rather unstable wobble after inputting rolI which initiates the issue (I hope that makes sense) have tried a reinstall, but with no effect. Am I missing something? Perhaps it's finger trouble at my end? Can anyone offer an explanation for this? It just seems odd that it was fine up until the latest MS update.Cheers. When you did a reinstall, how did you do it? If you don't follow the directions recommended by PMDG, and delete some files after uninstalling it, the reinstall won't cure anything.
September 25, 20214 yr One thing to ALWAYS check when 3rd party (or default mod'ed) aircraft all of a sudden start flying wonky. Make sure the Flight Model has not spontaneously changed itself to "Legacy". Happened to me twice so far since simming in MSFS. 1st time. 3 uninstalls and a myriad of troubleshooting tips to try. When I discovered it, poof...problem solved. Second time it happened....took me 5 seconds to fix vs the 2 days for the 1st time it happened. This is on my default troubleshooting checklist to check absolutely 1st. 😉 If its not that, not sure where to start. 😞 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

All sorted, I had forgotten to change back from Legacy to Modern! Glad it was this and a simple fix. Betting its now on your troubleshooting list at/near the top. 😉 For me, it trashed Rob Young's fantastic turbo mod for the 'nanza....was (trying) with a friend in multi-player when it 1st came out....he'd take off, climb out beautifully, I'd be in trail, fighting the controls until she finally lawn-darted, time and time again. When we finally found the issue, was burned into my mind, LOL. No clue why it sometimes spontaneously switches to Legacy.....but for me it did because I know I never touched the Flight Model tab until we started digging and comparing settings. I think sometimes these updates screw around with the settings in MSFS, including the legacy setting.
