Go to the X-Plane forum (and be stoned by the mob), the Hangar, wherever, to beat this dead horse yet again.  The future of X-Plane has nothing to do on a MSFS forum !

I agree with you. I also feel Laminer made up good ground with XP11 during the time MS supposedly ended flight sim production   My main reason for asking the question in the first place though, was I wondered if Xplane could to somehow match MSFS on the sat data front?

If you look at the previous two pages I would say Yes.

Austin does not have that as a priority so no. Ortho of course is an option if you like having more hard drive space than Facebook's servers. (its a joke kids...)

Not this nonsense again. Who cares? It's good to have a choice and I will continue to use both sims. A change is as good as a rest. But for what it's worth no, MSFS is not a threat, it's healthy competition.
