October 9, 20214 yr I have several saved flight plans which all include a parking position. But since some time, when I load the flight plan from the world menu, the sim starts at the active runway with engines running rather than at the parking position all cold&dark. I don't know since when it is like that, but some time ago, the sim always started from the correct parking positions. What has been changed? - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

When I load a Flightplan from the World Menu, I have to specify where the flight will start. It defaults to a runway, usually the active, and I have to select a parking spot if I don't want it to start on the active runway with engines running.
October 9, 20214 yr MSFS should be saving the flight plan twice, once as a .flt file, and once as a .pln file. Which type file are you later loading? If you are loading the .flt plan then try instead the .pln file. October 9, 20214 yr Kind of a side note to this, but I really wish there was a way to actually move the default parking spaces (spots) at the gates. Most work fine, but some are horribly off. Like when you select them it is about 200' away from the gate kind of in the middle of the ramp. I have seen videos of how to make new stuff, but not adjust the existing default.
