Also found this morning is a very interesting and comprehensive answer to a question regarding the operation of the engines on the SR-71. I've known for a long time what compressor stalls and flameouts were, but I had never before encountered the term "unstart!" This was very educational.

What a story!

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

This man experienced a miracle.It sounds like he was pretty cool under less than desirable conditions.

About 50 years only between the first reconnaissance aircraft of WW1 and the SR71...
