You may need to upgrade to BIOS 3004 or later--that's the earliest version for that mobo that lists Win 11 compatibility. The i7-8086K should support firmware TPM even without the optional hardware/discrete TPM module installed in the motherboard. Look in your BIOS on the Advanced->PCH-FW page for an option to enable it. October 25, 20214 yr Moderator @w6kd, thanks Bob, makes sense as I’m always reluctant to update the BIOS. It’s probably the same as the day I bought it. I assume it won’t impact on ASUS Suite overclocking settings. I’ve watched a couple of YT videos about 11 and now remember the BIOS is checked for compatibility. If you update your BIOS, you do need to at least run through the basic tests post-update--memory checker and stress test, to make sure things are still stable. Ususally they are...but not always. October 25, 20214 yr My system is compatibly but not bothering yet it takes MS a good year to work the bugs out, also Linus tested W11 and the some new UI features cannot be used by the present monitors and displays something for the future, manufactures will be bringing out new monitors to use the new features more cash for the PC industry.
