Using the new Garmin G1000 NXi - question

Featured Replies

I installed this using the Marketplace.  It does not show up in the Community folder.  How do I know all the default G1000 panels have been upgraded to this NXi?

It becomes apparent when you scroll through the menus.

It's installed into the  Packages\Official\OneStore  folder Ray - next one down from Community, and right at the bottom.

That is assuming I am familiar with the basic G1000, which I am not.  Anything specific I can check to verify I am looking at the NXi? Thanks.

Yep.  There it is, near the bottom in the official/steam folder.  Thanks.

If you have it installed it replaces the G1000 in all of the default models that have the G1000.  Make sure if you have any of the previous WT G1000 mods that you have removed that version from the Community folder.

OK. I will check for old versions in the Community folder.  Thanks.

Hi Ray.

On the PFD screen it allows for changing the ALT Units between inHg and hPa. Great for us Brits.

Thanks Kenny. I was expecting at least one obvious difference just to know for sure the switch had occurred.
