November 1, 20214 yr Hi , been away from flight simulation for about 2 years a FSX user . My pc has finally given up so looking to purchase a new one that will run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Now I have the Saitek controllers Pro Flight Yoke with throttle Multipanel Switch Panel Radio Panels and the FIP;s I don't suppose these are just plug and play with MSFS 2020? Do you need to download new software for them to work? I guess I will be spending days trying to get them to work, be nice to get the Pro Yoke working quickly so not spending all my time playing with settings. Any advise appreciated Many thanks Edited November 1, 20214 yr by Bozdog 3080rtx on a i7 12700k with 32 Gig ddr5. 2gig Ssd Quest 2 Windows 11

Any advise appreciated Many thanks Everything USB should work in MSFS, most controls are fully recognized and have an appropriate default mapping. Some of the default mappings are a little buggy, so you might still have to go in and change the mapping or fix a dev mistake. Do note that some combos only work on single devices, so you can't just flip a switch on your switch panel to let you change your barometric pressure -- if your baro knob is on a different panel. It'll work if it's on the same panel (your Comm panels) but not if it's on two different panels (Comm panel and Switch panel). Finally, not every plane will have every function enabled, so don't be surprised if you try the AP controls but get nothing out of them or only get some indicator needles moving. November 4, 20214 yr With Spad.next you can reprogram those 3 panels (saitec multi, switch, radio panel). Simple example some aircraft have no panel light but do have a dome light. So reprogram the Pane Lights switch on the Switch panel from panel to the MSFS command for dome light. Takes a few seconds. If you don't need the Flaps switch on the multi panel you make it a speed change switch for the pitch trim knob. Flip Flaps switch upwards and release it, and then the pitch trim works faster. Flip it down and then trim is back to normal (slow). Or you can also reprogram those 3 panels with AAO (Axis and Ohs) instead of Spad.next. They say it is easier but not as many options. If you use the Logitech official plug in, then all those 3 panels will work correctly, but you cannot reprogram any function on them at all. So in the default 152 the 'panel' light will be dead. But it can do any MSFS command whatsoever by using AAO or Spad.Next. Such as 'dome light'. You can download the official "plugin" on the logitech site (it is not called a driver in MSFS. It is called a driver in FSX. In MSFS it is called a "plug in"). But you do not need it if you are going to use AAO or Spad.Next. https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024692354--Downloads-Flight-Multi-Panel I have all 3 panels too, I do not use the official Logitech plugin at all. Spad.next has an extra utility to buy for reprogramming the Saitek FIPs. I'm not sure, but I imagine AAO would program the FIP hardware boxes too. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. November 5, 20214 yr Commercial Member I’m looking at picking up the Radio Panel as an early birthday gift to myself. Does Spad.next allow it to be compatible with both P3Dv5 and MSFS? How about for complex addons like PMDG, A2A radios? Thanks. Kyle Weber (Private Pilot, ASEL; Flight Test Engineer)Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM
