November 4, 20214 yr Hi Folks, I have had the WT G1000 NXi for some time now, my flying buddy installed it this evening but is not seeing the data at the side of the Bearing 1 and Bearing 2 display. It simply shows several white dots whereas mine shows distance and bearing to. We are both on the same version from the Marketplace. We both have the same frequencies in the NAV 1 and 2 radios. We can tune an NDB and we both see the frequency and bearing for that when we select it with the Bearing 2 softkey in the PFD. We are puzzled as to why he cannot see the info for a VOR. The frequency is green and shows the ident, the CDI is green and displays VOR1 in green but still no data in the bearing 1 and 2 popup. Any thoughts anyone? Mmmmm, I'm wondering if the sim has kept our group flight data from our last flight together. I know that this can result in only the group leader seeing an active magenta line in the MFD. We did not intentionally set up a group this time but never checked to see if one was still in force from last time. Regards...Kenny.

November 5, 20214 yr Author Hello Ryan. I would doubt that as he is not very techie. If anything it would be the original default G1000. We only installed the WT NXi last evening from the Marketplace. I can check that out though next Thursday evening when we get together again. Cheers...Kenny.
November 9, 20214 yr Hello, We must ensure that we only install in the community folder the G100Nxi MOD that is distributed by Microsoft through the Microsoft content Manager, and also that we maintain up to date this component as Microsoft releases more systems updates (SU-7, SU8, and so forth). Maybe what you are warning about, is not having other G1000 mods in The Community folder if you want the NXi to be active.. Bert
