December 3, 20214 yr Has anyone else noticed that when selecting/clicking on a gate 'spot' (not from the drop-down list) from the world menu, the sim CTDs when trying to load? Also, just had a CTD when in the drone cam and moving up fairly high then hitting the reset (num pad 5), the sim hangs, then CTDs. I'll log these if no one else has already. December 3, 20214 yr I had some very odd CTDs ocurring after installing the last MSFS release and finally isolated it to the Visual C++ Redistributable library I had installed. I deleted the ones I had (from 15 months ago) and slapped in the latest 2015-2022 x86 and x64 and all my instability issues vanished. https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe Edited December 3, 20214 yr by odourboy [email protected] - ROG Strix Z790-E - 2X16Gb G.Skill Trident DDR5 6400 CL32 - MSI RTX 4090 Suprim X - WD SN850X 2 TB M.2 - XPG S70 Blade 2 TB M.2 - MSI A1000G PCIE5 1000 W 80+ Gold PSU - Liam Li 011 Dynamic Razer case - 58" Panasonic TC-58AX800U 4K - Pico 4 VR HMD - WinWing HOTAS Orion2 MAX - ProFlight Pedals - TrackIR 5 - W11 Pro (Passmark:12574, CPU:63110-Single:4785, GPU:50688)

Not sure they're actually technical FS issues in the code base, but who knows. Jeff D. Probably placebo but who knows?
December 4, 20214 yr I made a fresh install of Win11 last night, followed by a fresh install of MFS today... Evrytime I try to start a flight I get a CTD. MFS is so far the only flightsim installed in my new Win 11. Noticed that after enabling DX12 (beta) mode I could start flights without further CTDs, but have to do more tests. The suggestion to install the VC++ libraries above looks promissing - will go for it and report back the results.
