First GOTY now Santa edition 🎅

Yes.  Early days, but it looks really promising.  Other than the low clouds still hanging about, (which some are saying is correct if you view the corresponding METAR), it is just a case of seeing if the beta breaks anything else really.  If they don't get any show stoppers up to and maybe over the weekend, I would hope they will let it rip for a formal update release next Monday or Tuesday.

We can call it the Santa edition, as hopefully it will come with the An-2 as a nice present.

Edit:  I would also expect a cascade of new third party stuff afterwards, and certainly before the holiday, as developers have been suffering a bit as well with the development process (now fixed I believe).  For me, a Quest Kodiak, F-16, C337, and maybe a Twin Otter at a push?

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

I hope Santa Edition includes a multithreading patch to stop the stutters before takeoff, due to photogrammetry streaming.

Unlikely but you never know. Wonder if they fix that for the next one, SU8. Have they even acknowledged it?
