GeForce Driver Version 497.09

Featured Replies

I've never had a CTD ever with MSFS2020.  However, since I updated my video drivers yesterday, I can't get into a flight without a CTD.  Anyone else experiencing a problem with the new drivers?

Yes there is a problem with those drivers, you have to install 496.76 again and CTDs will disappear

You an go to Nvidia.com

click on Drivers tab.

half way down the page is a link for Beta and Older drivers.

There is a known issue with the latest driver and MSFS.  I believe the latest Beta hotfix from MSFS has fixed this problem, but if you want to wait for the official hotfix from MSFS, you will need to roll back your Nvidia driver.

I don't seem to have any problems with these drivers, been using since they came out. Both my flight sims are DX12, I've seen others running DX12 games that have no problems with 497.09's.

Yeah it's specifically a DX11 problem.

Good thing I didn't update the driver. Still using 496.98 and no problems here.
